Save Our Health System
Save Our Community

Countdown until bankruptcy meeting determining fate of 2 Crozer Health Hospitals
MESSAGE FROM THE CROZER HEALTH CAREGIVER COMMUNITY
OUR HOSPITALS HAVE BEEN GIVEN UNTIL APRIL 3RD. THAT’S IT.
WE NEED URGENT ACTION ON THE PART OF STAKEHOLDERS TO KEEP THESE HOSPITALS OPEN.
THE TIME FOR TALK IS OVER. WE NEED ACTION. NOW.
As healthcare providers, we have taken an oath to ‘Do No Harm.’ We are committed to the well-being of every patient who walks through our doors, and that commitment extends to our entire community. Today, we stand before you with an urgent plea.
The healthcare systems in our area are facing unprecedented challenges, and if we cannot come together with our local partners to address these issues, the consequences could be devastating. Our community relies on these vital services, and without them, we face a future where access to care, safety, and overall health could be compromised.
“We are calling on our neighboring health networks, Penn Medicine and Main Line Health. We need you now more than ever."
OUR PATIENTS NEED US – ALL OF US.
OUR DOORS MUST STAY OPEN.
We need health systems to join us in ensuring that Delaware County remains a place where residents can receive the care they need, when they need it. Without support, the dominoes are going to fall, and all of us will be at risk, including neighboring hospitals.
This is more than just about preserving jobs or protecting institutions. It’s about protecting lives, keeping our neighborhoods safe, and ensuring that our healthcare system remains vibrant, capable, and responsive to the needs of everyone. If we allow these critical services to diminish or disappear, the long-term damage could be irreparable.
We urge everyone involved—health systems, elected officials, community members, and partners—to come together, act with urgency, and invest in a future where no one is left behind. We are calling on you to help us keep this health system alive, strong, and committed to the well-being of all who rely on it.
Our patients, our community, and our future are at stake. We are grateful to the Governor’s Office and the Attorney General’s Office for their bold action and their committed stewardship on our behalf. And we are pleased that the Foundation for Delaware County stepped up to preserve access to critical care for our community.
It was a great FIRST STEP in ridding Delaware County once and for all of Prospect Medical Holdings, which has used our health system as their personal piggy bank, ruthlessly draining our hospitals of funds and services as they lined their own pockets. But we still need a permanent solution.
We need neighboring health systems to step up FOR THE PUBLIC GOOD and help create a lasting, long-term solution to stabilize critical care in Delaware County. We need the state to protect communities like ours throughout Pennsylvania from for-profit looters looking to raid their hospitals and make a buck on their backs. And we need the folks at Prospect corporate who raided our hospitals to be held accountable. We encourage criminal investigations of their actions. They pillaged our community and cut and ran.
